The Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco has, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, as announced, introduced two new electric transporters derived from its former sister brand Fiat. With the eJolly and eSuperJolly, they complete the range of battery-electric light commercial vehicles, now ranging from 2.8 tons to 7.2 tons. The delivery of the eSuperJolly begins in the first quarter of 2026, with the eJolly following in the second quarter.

"The introduction of our eJolly and eSuperJolly, developed in collaboration with Stellantis Pro One, represents a significant milestone. Together, we are delivering advanced, efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions, creating significant added value for our customers," commented Carlotta Mathis, Head of Strategy and Marketing Iveco.

eJolly: Compact Size

With a gross vehicle weight of 2.8 to 3.2 tons, the new eJolly is designed for urban assignments. The payload, despite the electric drive, is a high 1,175 kg. The height of less than 1.9 m ensures access to parking garages with height restrictions. As with the Stellantis twins, the Vitesco electric motor with an output of 100 kW and torque of

260 Nm provides rapid acceleration and high driving comfort. As with Stellantis, there is a choice between a 49-kWh battery, offering a range of up to 224 km, or a 75-kWh battery, extending autonomy up to 352 km depending on use. A fast-charging function of up to 100 kW can restore 100 km of range in just 15 minutes.

The eJolly also features an ePTO (400V) for custom builds and conversions, from refrigerated vehicles to mobile workshops. The driver assistance operates on Level 2+ of automated driving, and the Euro NCAP gave a gold safety rating.

The new eSuperJolly focuses below the eDaily as a Ducato counterpart, targeting higher transport demands with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 to 4.25 tons. Here, a 200-kW motor with a torque of 410 Nm provides propulsion. Thanks to a large 110-kWh battery, a range of up to 420 km should be possible. A DC fast charger is used, charging the vehicle for 100 km of range in just 15 minutes. As known from the Ducato, the cargo space offers a lot of

volume on little area, up to 17 m³ and a payload of up to 1.4 tons.

Inside, there is a multifunctional, adjustable table, multiple voltage charging ports, including wireless charging. Even with the large E-Van, Level 2+ driver assistance is mandatory, which also contributes to the Euro NCAP Gold rating.

With its own "ecosystem" of services around e-mobility, it aims to dispel typical concerns regarding range, charging, and operational continuity. This is also served by an app exclusively developed for the eJolly and eSuperJolly series. It provides information about the vehicle status, remaining range, and charging planning. For fleet managers, the Iveco ON portal offers operational transparency, including exact data on vehicle status, battery charge level, range, and performance. This enables smarter planning, proactive management, and secure decision-making, the manufacturer advertises.

The S-eWay also becomes suitable for long-distance travel

Following the introduction of the S-eWay Rigid last year, IVECO takes another step towards emission-free transportation with the introduction of the new S-eWay Artic. The model is aimed at long-distance transport and offers a range of up to 600 km

on a single charge. The core of its performance is the e-axle, developed by the sister brand FPT Industrial. It provides continuous power of 480 kW, transmitted directly to the wheels. This architecture is meant to reduce energy losses typical of traditional drivetrains, ensuring optimal efficiency and energy management.

The model is offered in a 4x2 configuration and is equipped with full air suspension, providing exceptional driving comfort and handling. Thanks to the versatile electric architecture, the vehicle can be equipped with an ePTO to offer emission-free refrigerated transport solutions. The energy is provided by an LFP battery system, which comes with a battery warranty of up to 10 years and 1.2 million km. Three transversely mounted LFP battery packs provide a capacity of 603 kWh, with 97% of the energy being usable. The charging time from 20% to 80% SoC is optimized to 60 minutes, using 350 kW DC fast-charging. The thermal management system is designed to ensure optimal battery temperatures in a wide operating range from -30 °C to 45 °C, providing reliable performance under different climatic
