Kässbohrer has further expanded its partnership with Van der Werff Logistics: The logistics company received 20 heavy-duty platform trailers K.SPS.H. The handover took place in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

Van der Werff Logistics was founded in 1916 and specializes in the transport of building materials. The company operates primarily in the Benelux region but offers services throughout Europe.

Fleet expanded

With warehouses in Heerenveen and Waalwijk, comprehensive logistics solutions are to be offered, including transport, storage, and distribution. In

total, the logistics company now has 45 Kässbohrer semi-trailers in operation, which are used, among other things, for the transport of precast concrete parts for residential construction.

“We have been working with Kässbohrer since 2016 when we bought our first trailers. Over the years, the trailers have been optimized through close communication and collaboration with Kässbohrer to perfectly meet our operational requirements,” explains Theo van der Werff.

Tailor-made solution

For example, the load securing is precisely adapted

to the loading conditions – through precise placement of the stanchions and appropriate placement of stanchion pockets for the safe transport of precast concrete parts.

The load securing equipment also meets the needs of Van der Werff. The delivered K.SPS H heavy-duty platforms are equipped with round pot lines to secure precast concrete parts and sufficient lashing rings to comply with load securing regulations.

The equipment features also include customized toolboxes. In addition, the trailers can be

adapted to different transport requirements and are designed to be durable.

Flexible application possibilities

According to Roy Kreuzen, Key Account Manager for the Netherlands at Kässbohrer, the Van der Werff trailers also feature advanced corrosion-resistant coatings for longer durability.

The extendable heavy-duty platforms K.SPS H are also designed to impress with high load capacity and robust construction. They are designed for flexible application possibilities and the transport of heavy, long, and flat loads, according to the information
