Mats Gunnarsson, currently Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Operations at Scania, has been appointed as the new head of Traton Financial Services. He will take over the position on June 1, 2025, and report to Traton CEO Christian Levin.
Gunnarsson held various international commercial leadership positions at Scania and also worked for the European Investment Bank and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. He succeeds Johan Haeggman, who is retiring after three years at Traton Financial Services.
Since May 15, 2025, Thomas Eberhardt has joined the management level of Now GmbH as the second Managing Director and COO. He forms the management team together with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and spokesperson Dagmar Fehler, whose contract has been extended.
Eberhardt succeeds Alina Hain, who left the company in April 2025. He began his professional career with Daimler AG and then held a leading position at Toll Collect GmbH for many years, most recently as Managing Director (CFO/COO). Since 2019, he has worked as a consultant in the transport and infrastructure sector.
Reinforcement for the management level of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe GmbH (MTTE): In April, Dietmar Hebel took over the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, he is responsible for the growth strategy and process optimization. Hebel has been leading the Operating Office Section of MTTE since April 1, 2025. In the COO position, he succeeds Alexander
Allgaier, who assumed the sales management DACH at MTTE in 2024. Hebel was recently Head of Order Fulfillment at Carrier Transicold. Before entering the transport refrigeration industry, he was employed at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and Toyota Spare Parts.
DHL Global Forwarding has appointed Amanda Rasmussen as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) effective May 15, 2025. In her new role, she reports to Tim Scharwath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. Rasmussen succeeds Thomas George, who, as Executive Vice President, is responsible for implementing the new Corporate Strategy 2030. Rasmussen previously held various positions in the USA, Asia, and Europe, as well as leadership positions in regional and product-related P&L management. She joined DHL Global Forwarding's International Supply Chain (ISC) business in 2010, initially for the South Asia-Pacific region. In 2015, her responsibilities expanded to include ISC activities across the entire Asia-Pacific region. She then held leadership positions at Indo Trans Logistics and Expeditors International before returning to DHL as Senior Vice President Order Management Solutions (OMS) in 2024.
Frank Bauer, currently Chief Financial Officer and Labor Director of Lufthansa Cargo AG, will take up the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Lufthansa Cargo on July 1, 2025. Additionally, Gregor Schleussner, previously Head of Finance, Controlling & Accounting at Eurowings, will join the executive team as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Labor Director
from July 1. Bauer began his career at Lufthansa Cargo in 2007. Three years later, he moved to Jade Cargo in China, returning to Deutsche Lufthansa AG in 2012, where he held various leadership positions. He was subsequently responsible for finance and personnel as a member of the executive management of Eurowings and then led the Group's controlling and risk management. Since August 1, 2023, he has been responsible for finance and personnel at Lufthansa Cargo as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Labor Director.
Schleussner will join the executive board of Lufthansa Cargo on July 1, 2025, and will be responsible for finance and personnel. His areas of responsibility will include Human Resources, Finance & Controlling, Legal, Corporate & Political Affairs, Information Management, and Supply Management & Infrastructure. He started in 2006 in the ProTeam junior management program at Lufthansa. After various assignments, including in product management and sales, he became Manager Investor Relations in 2009 and a point of contact for investors and equity analysts of the Lufthansa Group. In 2015, he moved to Corporate Controlling at Deutsche Lufthansa AG, where he led the management of Passenger Airlines and Aviation Services companies. From 2017, he led the CEO Office of the Lufthansa Group. Since 2021, Schleussner has been Head of Finance, Controlling & Accounting at Eurowings.
On April 1, 2025, Maximilian von Löbbecke took over the management
of Renault Trucks in Germany. He succeeds Frederic Ruesche, who is stepping down from the position after five and a half years and will take on a new role within the Volvo Group. Von Löbbecke brings over 20 years of experience in international business and corporate development with manufacturers of trucks and specialty vehicles. Most recently, in 2013, he took on the role of managing director responsible for the development, scaling, and leadership of the 365FarmNet Group, a subsidiary of the agricultural machinery group Claas. Previously, he worked for a technology company in Silicon Valley and held various leadership positions within the Fiat group. Von Löbbecke holds several board mandates and is a guest lecturer at business schools on topics of business transformation and new business models.
The supervisory board of TÜV Nord AG has appointed Inga Dransfeld-Haase as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Labor Director of the group, effective September 1, 2025. Upon joining the board, she will also become a member of the group management. Dransfeld-Haase has held various leadership positions at BP Europe SE since 2020, serving as Director of Labor and Social Affairs since 2023. Previously, she held various leadership roles at Nordzucker AG. As of September 1, 2025, the board of TÜV Nord AG will consist of: Dr. Dirk Stenkamp (Chairman/CEO), Jürgen Himmelsbach (Finance/CFO), Ringo Schmelzer (Chief Operating Officer/COO), and Inga Dransfeld-Haase (Personnel/CHRO).
