February 1, 2026, after 16 years at the helm of the professional association. Along with Karin Tanger and the newly appointed Head of Prevention Wolfgang Laske, he forms the three-member leadership team.

The newly elected management will commence its work upon Kudzielka's departure on February 1, 2026. The board and representative assembly are equally comprised of representatives from the employers and the insured.

The 56-year-old Höppner has been a member of the management since 2016. Among other things, he successfully contributed to the merger with the Accident Insurance Fund Post and Telecommunications and its integration. He also shapes the modernization and digitalization of the service area with a total of eight district administrations.

Böschemeier brings a successful track record in growth and strategy in logistics.
