Fiat Professional is bringing a new, fundamentally familiar vehicle to the streets of Africa and the Middle East with the Tris – and it's one with only three wheels. Why? Because for many tasks in urban everyday life, you don't need a big car, but a small, agile, and practical vehicle.

Design in the Centro Stile!

The Tris is FIAT's first electric three-wheeler and was designed in Italy at the Centro Stile. It is produced in Morocco. The target audience is small businesses, delivery services, and self-employed individuals who navigate city traffic and often work in narrow spaces – or in short: people who have work to do.

The 6.9-kWh battery is supposed to offer a range of up to 90 km

The Tris is a purely electric vehicle with a 6.9 kWh lithium battery. The official range (according to WLTC) is 90 kilometers – which is more than enough for daily deliveries in the city. It

charges with the integrated 220V plug, so quite normally at a household socket: 0–80% should take 3.5 hours, the full charge in 4 hours and 40 minutes.

Performance: Sufficient: 9 kW and 45 Nm

The power comes from a 48-volt motor with 9 kW peak performance and a maximum torque of 45 Nm. This allows the three-wheeler to reach a top speed of 45 km/h – fast enough for the city, slow enough for oversight.

The Tris is only 3.17 meters long and has an impressive turning circle of 3.05 meters. This means: narrow alleys, no parking spaces, no problem. The vehicle is available in three variants:

Pick-up (with a loading area, e.g., for fruit, furniture, or cement bags),

Flatbed (open loading area for individual constructions),

Chassis-Cabin (for personal customization or in cooperation with Fiat partners).

Finally, a harmonious balance between curb weight and payload

The payload is up to 540 kg, and the loading area provides

space for a standard Euro pallet (about 2.25 m²). The permissible total weight is 1,025 kg.

The cockpit features a 5.7-inch digital display that shows all the important information: battery level, range, speed. For charging a phone or tablet, there is a USB-C port and a 12V socket. The vehicle is equipped with modern LED lights, three-point seat belts, a reversing alarm, and a washer fluid container – EU-compliant, of course. The seats are ergonomic, and getting in and out is quick, which is particularly pleasant with many stops.

Robust and above all city-friendly

The construction is designed for durability: the frame is corrosion-protected and based on passenger car standards. The wider rear axle and the 12-inch wheels ensure a stable road grip – even when fully loaded. Particularly practical is the absence of a clutch and gearbox: just sit in, drive off, recharge, drive off again.

Fiat offers the Tris at a comparatively low entry price,

which has not yet been precisely communicated but is expected to start in the four-figure range – leasing and hire purchase models included. This makes the vehicle affordable for small businesses or single entrepreneurs – especially in regions where mobility is often expensive or not easily accessible. Fiat CEO Olivier Francois says:

"Tris is more than just a new vehicle – it is a simple, useful tool for urban everyday life. Built for people who move things – in the truest sense of the word."

By the way, the name "Tris" refers not only to the three wheels but also to the modular design and the triple LED signature at the front – and is easy to pronounce internationally.

What does that mean?

The Fiat Tris is the intelligent and affordable rebirth of the Ape: three wheels, no noise, no emissions – and a small contribution to mobility with common sense – please offer it in Europe
