At the end of transport logistic 2025, Messe München announced that both the occupied area and the number of participants, as well as the global reach of the fair, have increased this year. 2,722 exhibitors from 73 nations, more than 77,000 visitors from over 130 countries and regions, and an expanded exhibition space of 150,000 square meters make transport logistic by far the largest trade fair of its kind worldwide, according to a press release on June 5. In 2023, the number of visitors was still at 75,649. The proportion of international exhibitors at transport logistic 2025, which took place from June 2-5 in Munich, rose to 65 percent (2023: 60 percent).
"Transport logistic 2025 impressively demonstrated the central role logistics plays in our interconnected world," said Stefan Rummel, Managing Director of
Messe München. "It is the lifeline of the global economy." Without smooth supply chains, our everyday life would come to a halt. "I was particularly pleased that the new Federal Minister of Transport, Patrick Schnieder, opened the fair," Rummel added.
The significant increase in participants led to a very lively and positive atmosphere.
Whether autonomous transport, smart platform solutions, or AI-supported control systems – transport logistic 2025 set technological focal points. The panels, specialist lectures, and workshops of the conference program reflected the current challenges and innovation potentials. Notably, the topics of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digitalization dominated the agenda.
The integrated air cargo Europe experienced a growth in significance in 2025. Due to the high level of interest, this area occupied two full halls for the first time. According to Messe
München, this is clear evidence that air freight is and remains systemically relevant – for example, for medical goods, e-commerce, or time-critical deliveries.
According to the information provided, visitors to transport logistic 2025 came from more countries than ever before – and decision-makers from professional and leadership levels were even more strongly represented than in the past. Dynamics, relevance, and concrete business approaches characterized the four trade fair days, according to Messe München. The international character of the fair was particularly appreciated by companies operating across different modes of transport.
Tobias König, CCO of the Rhenus Group, said: "Transport logistic is an indispensable platform for us as the Rhenus Group for direct exchange with customers and partners. The conversations were of very high quality and have once again shown why this fair
rightfully holds its leading trade fair character."
Dr. Frank Albers, Sales and Marketing Director at Krone Trailer, stated: "Transport logistic is more than just a trade fair for us – it is a central industry meeting point with international appeal. Here, all modes of transport come together to talk about future topics, discuss challenges, and develop solutions together."
And Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni, a developer of industrial and logistics real estate, added: "Transport logistic is a must-attend event for us. It brings together the most important minds in the industry in one place. This year, the quality of the conversations was particularly remarkable – many of our meetings took place at the decision-maker level and were correspondingly in-depth and directional."
The next transport logistic will take place from April 26-29,
