Since November 1, 2025, Driventic operates as an independent company in the commercial vehicle market. The Heidenheim-based company announced this. Driventic has emerged from Voith Turbo's Commercial Vehicles division and is taking over its business with drive systems for buses and heavy commercial vehicles.
Independent structure following the spin-off
According to Driventic, the company employs around 1,400 employees at 26 locations in 18 countries. Driventic emphasizes that as an independent company it can
respond even more targetedly and quickly to the requirements and needs of its customers. The CEO of the new company is Dr. Gregor Wiche. All products, systems and digital services from Driventic are technological advances and further developments of Voith.
Focus on e-mobility and proven technologies
Driventic is pursuing, according to its own statements, a two-track growth strategy. In the field of electric mobility, the product portfolio for buses and heavy-duty vehicles is
to be expanded. The focus is on high-performance, efficient and sustainable drive systems. At the same time, the company wants to strengthen and expand its position in the market for conventional propulsion technologies such as transmissions, retarders and other components.
