Kässbohrer uses this year's Solutrans trade fair in Lyon to showcase its developments in trailer manufacturing. The manufacturer is presenting at the event from 18 to 22 November 2025 new vehicle models and at the same time pointing to its expanded development and testing capacities. According to a press release, these are designed to meet higher requirements for safety, efficiency and durability.

Expansion of testing and development structures

Kässbohrer now, according to its own statements, has development centers with a covered area of 22,000 square meters. The infrastructure is complemented by an outdoor test track on which

every newly developed vehicle covers more than one million kilometers in continuous operation. Furthermore, the manufacturer states that the models are tested under extreme temperature conditions between minus 70 and plus 150 degrees Celsius.

These test procedures are intended to ensure that the trailers operate reliably even under demanding operating conditions. Kässbohrer notes that all 21 vehicles that have been brought to market since the last Solutrans have undergone this validation.

Premiere at Solutrans

On the occasion of its fifth participation in the trade fair, Kässbohrer intends to present a new vehicle and to show selected models

from its current product program. Among the novelties is the Silotrailer K.SSL 38, a silo trailer without tipping function. With improved design and altered wheelbase, the K.SSL 38 is said to provide good maneuverability even under demanding operating conditions according to the press release. Additionally, the construction is designed for rapid unloading and offers safety under different road conditions.

New solutions in heavy transport

Another exhibit is the non-extendable 3-axle low-bed trailer K.SLS HS 3. The model features a hydraulic gooseneck ramp and a trailing-steered rear axle. This combination is intended to facilitate loading and unloading and

to provide high maneuverability – especially on tight construction sites or in inner-city areas.

The trailer is manufactured from high-strength S700MC steel. According to the company, the K.SLS HS 3 combines robust durability with reduced own weight, resulting in lower fuel consumption, lower emissions and, at the same time, higher payload.

Wide product range

In addition to these two novelties, Kässbohrer presents further series: the K.SHG AVH, an Octagon-On-Container chassis for container transport, as well as the K.SRI C, the new standard range for refrigerated trailers, which, according to the manufacturer, is precisely tailored to the needs
