As part of IAA MOBILITY 2025, the trade magazine VISION mobility from the Munich-based HUSS VERLAG, together with Deloitte and the trade fair organizers, welcomed around 150 invited guests to the presentation of the award "BEST OF mobility 2025". IAA Mobility is organized by the Association of the Automotive Industry e.V. (VDA) in collaboration with Messe München.
The readers' poll was held for the fourth time and registered around 32,000 votes cast in ten categories. Innovative products and services from the areas of mobility, connectivity and infrastructure were recognized. The voting took place via VISION mobility's online platform.
Rainer Langhammer, managing director of HUSS-VERLAG GmbH, sees in the results a clear sign of the industry's willingness
to innovate.
"With this award we want to make the still considerable innovation power of the automotive industry visible, and dispel any potential discussions about a lack of willingness to develop more efficient, climate-neutral mobility models—or address them with outstanding examples of future-proof mobility."
The diversity of the "Best of Mobility" winners demonstrates the mobility industry's innovation power
The awarded companies range from established brands to newcomers and illustrate the diversity and innovation power of the industry. In the category "Electric Cars/Mini and Compact" the Škoda Elroq won, while in the midsize models category the Mercedes-Benz CLA with EQ technology won. Volkswagen impressed with the ID. GTI Concept in the concept-car category. Other winners include, among
others, the Honda Prelude (Hybrid), Continental (Tyres), Bosch (Digital Systems), Alphabet (Telematics), go-e (AC charging solutions), ADS-TEC Energy (DC charging technology) as well as Aral pulse as the best charging-point operator.
Gregor Soller, editor-in-chief of VISION mobility, emphasized the importance of this diversity:
"The readers' poll impressively shows the entire range of the mobility world: It not only brings the big brands into the spotlight, but also honors newcomers and hidden champions—in short, all providers and players who are indispensable for economical and climate-friendly mobility," says Soller.
Dr. Harald Proff, partner and global sector head Automotive at Deloitte, highlighted the role of technological innovations for the transformation toward sustainable mobility.
"Innovations are essential to master the
diverse challenges and transformations in the automotive industry – this is vividly demonstrated by this year's Best of Mobility Award and the companies awarded here. Only through innovative thinking can we achieve the shift to sustainable mobility, where individual use and shared offerings go hand in hand," says Proff.
