The Esslingen-based company Eberspächer presents a new parking heater solution for passenger cars that is designed to provide rapid heating of the vehicle interior, independently of engine operation. The "Hydronic S3 Economy" is installed directly into the cooling circuit and distributes the heat through the vehicle's existing ventilation
system.
The control of the parking heater is initiated digitally via the EasyStart Web App. Users can program heating times, monitor the interior temperature, and view the operating status of the heater. In addition, on suitable vehicle models the parking heater can pre-warm the engine, which makes starting
easier, reduces the load on the battery and reduces fuel consumption.
Temperature regulation is achieved through sensors and an electronic control unit that ensure reliable and constant operation. A timer function can ensure that the vehicle is pre-warmed at the desired time.
The thermal management specialist says it
offers installation kits for more than 100 current vehicle models. Installation is carried out by authorized specialist workshops. The offering targets different vehicle classes, from compact cars to light commercial vehicles. Customers can have their vehicle model checked for compatibility and, if necessary, receive personalized offers from dealers.
