At Blechexpo 2025 (October 21–24, 2025, Messe Stuttgart), the Baden-Württemberg-based Apfel GmbH will present its new tool cabinet for small parts. Its two variants “WKS 240 Set L” and the “WKS 640 Set L” have the same equipment, but differ in depth.
The new small-parts cabinet comes in anthracite and is supplied as a complete system. The complete system includes four floor-running vertical pull-out units with rollers, 40 shelves
and 200 storage bins. Each of the extendable vertical pull-outs is rated for a load capacity of 900 kg and can be individually locked with a key.
WKS 240 Set L
The WKS 240 occupies a footprint of 1,040 mm (W) x 1,050 mm (D) x 2,140 mm (H), i.e., a little over one square meter. The individual storage bins each measure 151 mm (W) x 230 mm (D)
x 130 mm (H). At the moment, Apfel is offering the WKS 240 Set L at a price of €2,990.
WKS 640 Set L
For more stowage and storage space, the WKS 640 is an alternative with a depth of 1,300 mm instead of 1,050 mm. This variant features 280 storage bins and is said to offer 25 percent more storage space. According to Apfel, there are no other
differences in equipment. The price of the WKS 640 is €3,280.
Equipped with additional pallet truck pockets, both cabinet variants can be transported more easily when empty.
