The Chinese online platform Temu will in the future cooperate with the Spanish shipping solutions provider Packlink for the parcel shipping of its European merchants. The Madrid-based company announced this in a press release.
According to this, Temu sellers in Europe, including the United Kingdom, will, within the framework of the collaboration, gain access to Packlink's automated solutions. The company's logistics functions will thus be available to a larger group of
e-commerce retailers.
Automated workflows
Providers that sell their products on Temu can connect directly with Packlink to obtain discounted shipping rates, automate shipping rules, track deliveries, and manage invoices in one place, according to Packlink in the press release. The automation helps to process more orders faster. From the seller's perspective, this can lead to increased online sales and an improved customer experience.
“We want to support merchants who are looking
for an optimized solution for managing their fulfillment logistics and workflows," says Matthew Trattles, Vice President of Packlink & EU Merchant Business. "Through this collaboration we can onboard new Temu sellers across Europe on our platform. Bringing together all of Packlink's order management functions in one place simplifies processes and reduces fragmentation in e-commerce shipping.”
Since last year Temu has also allowed European sellers on its platform in many markets. The
company states that up to 80 percent of its European revenue will ultimately come from local businesses and local fulfillment handling.
“Temu has set itself the goal of giving local companies the opportunity to expand their reach across Europe and beyond,” said a spokesperson for the platform. “By collaborating with reliable partners like Packlink, we can better connect European sellers with smart and seamless tools and continuously improve the shopping experience
