Effective July 1, 2025, Sabrina Ley will take on the position of Managing Director "Sales & Operations" at Metro Germany and will become a member of the now six-member management team of the wholesaler.
The newly created sixth management position in Supply Chain Management & Logistics at Metro Germany will be filled by Erol Yildizgörer starting in July.

Sabrina Ley and Erol Yildizgörer both have many years of experience within the company. Ley began her career at the Metro Group in 2013 as
an Associate Group Strategy & M&A at Metro AG. In October 2016, she took on the leadership of Investor Relations at Metro AG. A year later, she was promoted to Director of Investor Relations and additionally assumed responsibility for Group Strategy in February 2020. Since March 2022, the manager has been working as Senior Vice President Strategy & Investor Relations at Metro AG, before joining Metro Germany as Operations Director in Training in
March 2024.
Erol Yildizgörer has been with Metro Germany in various positions since 1997. In October 2006, he took on the role of General Manager for the Metro Market in Stuttgart. In 2011, he moved to the company headquarters in Düsseldorf and assumed the role of Head of Central Sales Management. In 2013, he was promoted to Head of Central Sales Management.
