As part of the initiative “Logistik in Bewegung”, logistics-oriented companies collected more than 125,000 kilometers between July and September 2025 through running, cycling, hiking, skating or swimming. As a result, they raised a total of €54,850 for the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation.

The donation check was presented together with all participating companies on opening day (22 October) at the BVL Supply Chain CX 2025 in Berlin. Kuno Neumeier, founder of “Logistik in Bewegung” and CEO of the logistics real estate consultancy Logivest, presented the check on behalf of all participants together with Bora Argac, CCO Germany of Hellmann Logistics and a founding partner, to

Karin Neumeier, chairwoman of the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation.

The foundation supports nationwide young people up to the age of 49 after the death of their life partner, as well as children, adolescents and young adults who are mourning one or both parents. How important this work is and how to cope with such a blow of fate was discussed by Andy Eder, hockey player for the Eisbären Berlin, Eisbären managing director Thomas Bothstede and Karin Neumeier in a talk with Sky moderator Michael Leopold. Earlier this year Tobias Eder, Andy’s brother and also a professional with the Eisbären Berlin, died after a serious

illness.

Karin Neumeier expressed deep admiration for the solidarity and willingness to help shown by the logistics companies: “It moves us greatly to see how the industry again this year stands strong for us and for those in mourning – despite the challenging economic situation! Our heartfelt thanks go, on behalf of the entire foundation, to all who have contributed with such dedication and compassion.”

“In times of economic uncertainty, it is all the more important to show humanity and to stick together. I am very proud that our industry again this year demonstrates such a high level of commitment and actively supports

the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation,” said Kuno Neumeier.

During the initiative “Logistik in Bewegung,” employees of logistics-focused companies from all over Germany collected kilometers—regardless of which sport they practiced. Each kilometer travelled contributed to the good cause. The companies themselves decided how much donation they would contribute per kilometer. The participants documented their athletic activities with photos from pedometers or fitness apps—and, under the hashtag #LogistikinBewegung on social media, provided additional motivation and team spirit.

In 2025, the following companies participated in the campaign, moved for the good cause and donated: Four Parx, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Loxxess AG, Mainblick, P3 Logistic Parks, TST, Logivisor
