The Norwegian warehouse technology specialist AutoStore unveiled its product portfolio for Fall 2025 on October 22. The centerpiece, according to a press release, is the application "AutoCase," which automates the movement of full cartons into and out of the warehouse. The portfolio also includes "FlexBins," which enable different container sizes in a single grid to expand the assortment, increase storage density and support consolidation and buffering. In addition, the new "Frozen-Only Grid" offers a special solution for frozen products in the food and health sectors.

The fulfillment industry is evolving rapidly. Customers expect faster deliveries, a broader assortment and error-free service — even

under the most challenging conditions. At the same time, companies face labor shortages, volatile supply chains and rising costs. Suppliers from the food, health, retail and logistics sectors must now move larger volumes in less space, with fewer staff and under tighter deadlines — while keeping their customer promises. With seven new features, AutoStore aims to address central challenges.

New Enhanced Features

  • AutoCase automates the loading and unloading of full cartons, according to the company, enabling their storage and subsequent individual retrieval — a function for high-volume warehouses.
  • By combining carton handling and single-item retrieval in a single flow, throughput remains high and
  • shelves stay stocked even at peak demand, the provider argues.
  • FlexBins are intended to enable different container sizes in a single grid, increasing storage density and the assortment.
  • The Frozen-Only Grid, a configuration of AutoStore's existing "Multi-Temperature Solution", is a specialized system for temperature-controlled storage, which, according to the warehouse technology provider, reduces energy consumption and increases worker safety.
  • CarouselAI enhancements: CarouselAI, introduced in Spring 2025, now improves container placement for faster picking, offers options for the shipping path and supports handling of lighter items, the press release states.

New Features for Seamless Implementation

  • Fire protection standards: A new sprinkler design with lower
  • pressure reduces installation costs by up to 35 percent, according to the company, without compromising safety.
  • Floor flatness: Laser scanning and shim technology are intended to make costly floor grinding before installation unnecessary.
  • "CubeDeploy": A single installer is intended to speed up and simplify AutoStore software updates, with minimal downtime.

"These seven innovations address central challenges in the warehouse, strengthen our portfolio and expand the possibilities for maximizing ROI. Particularly powerful is that we can now automate both full cartons and individual items in the same high-density system — the most advanced solution of its kind," says Parth Joshi, Chief Product Officer at
