On November 18 and 19, the "Reusable Meeting Point" will take place for the first time at the Congress Center Dortmund. The Reusable Meeting Point is moderated by Logipack Service GmbH and developed with partner associations from the reusable sector – including the Federal Association of the German Beverage Wholesalers e.V., the Reusable Initiative Foundation, Pro Mehrweg, the Association of German Beverage Retailers e.V., and the Reusable Working Group. The concept is based on the "Logistics Lounge," which was visited by more than 2,000 people in total at
the BrauBeviale in 2023 and 2024.
"Our goal is to set strong impulses through industry-specific overarching themes, expert lectures, and discussions in order to advance the widespread use of reusable items in business and society," said Torsten Hiller, Managing Director of Logipack, at a press event on June 27 in Berlin.
Under the motto "Reusable Perspectives", different views on the relevant reusable systems are to be illuminated and discussed in the areas of "Logistics Lounge," "Reuse Expo," and "Speakers Corner" in front of up to 500 visitors. A
wide range of companies and organizations are expected at the accompanying "REUSE EXPO" exhibition. About 30 exhibitors are anticipated, the organizers told LOGISTIK HEUTE upon request. The dialogue platform will occupy the foyer of Messe Dortmund as well as a second hall.
The dialogue platform aims to bring together relevant players in Dortmund, provide impulses for the reusable industry, and address crucial future topics in its program. The keynotes will include opportunities in food retail, new supply chain strategies, process optimization through digitalization, practical examples, and the political
and societal framework conditions.
The speakers at the Reusable Meeting Point include: Dirk Reinsberg, Executive Board Member of the Federal Association of the German Beverage Wholesalers, Maria Blume, Head of Sustainability Office at Getränke Hoffmann, Jens Oldenburg, Managing Director of the Reusable Initiative Foundation, Henriette Schneider, Managing Director of Pro Mehrweg, and Lothar Menge, Managing Director of Copa Systeme.
The second edition of the BUILDINX trade fair, covering the entire value chain in logistics and industrial real estate, will also take place at Messe Dortmund from November 18-20,
