For well over ten years, the European Transport Award for Sustainability (ETPN) has made visible what is possible when economy, ecology, and social responsibility interplay. When HUSS-VERLAG, which also publishes LOGISTIK HEUTE, launched the award in 2011, sustainability in the commercial vehicle sector was hardly a topic—often ridiculed, mostly dismissed as costly extras. However, the newspaper Transport early on signaled that sustainable action is not only feasible but also economically wise.
The ETPN has now firmly established itself. After seven successful award ceremonies, it is regarded as
a recognized seal of approval for responsible conduct in the commercial road freight transport sector. It awards projects, products, and initiatives that demonstrate how business success can be combined with environmental and social responsibility—while also giving new impetus to the industry.
