Multipharma, a Belgian distribution platform for pharmaceutical products, has improved the traceability and efficiency of its logistics processes with ZetesChronos, the IT solution from provider Zetes. According to the provider, the solution gives Multipharma greater transparency into the status of deliveries. This is stated in a recent press release from Zetes.
According to this, Multipharma operates a network of 243 pharmacies
across Belgium with more than 1,800 employees. The company handles a variety of different logistics flows. In the past, issues with shipment tracking arose. Manual delivery management led to delivery errors.
ZetesChronos facilitates the management of deliveries. According to the provider, the solution enables full digitization of transport processes as well as the capture of real-time data via barcodes. As a
result, packages could be precisely tracked during delivery from the distribution center to the pharmacies. Multipharma now has a better overview of each transport unit.
"Since the integration of ZetesChronos, Multipharma has significantly improved the transparency of logistics operations. The solution has led to more reliable deliveries and improved availability of products across all pharmacies in the Multipharma network. This enables
better service for customers. With the implementation of ZetesChronos, we have achieved seamless traceability of our deliveries and optimized our supply chain. At the same time, we can thus ensure the security of our logistics flows. Zetes understood our requirements and guided us through the entire project in a highly professional manner," says Quentin Van Buylaere, Supply Chain & Sustainability Director,
