The Panattoni Park Ennshafen was officially opened on July 2. On this occasion, the firefighting equipment supplier Rosenbauer International AG became the first tenant to start operations at its new logistics location on a part of the site, as reported in a press release by the logistics real estate developer Panattoni on the same day. Covering an area of more than 35,000 square meters, the business park offers flexible spaces for companies from all sectors.
"The location in Enns allows us to centralize our logistics functions and offers excellent connections to our manufacturing sites in Austria," said Thomas Biringer, CTO of Rosenbauer.
The logistics
center takes over the central supply of manufacturing and serves as a hub for spare parts supply as well as the processing of protective equipment and fire protection components. In the long term, Rosenbauer plans to use Ennshafen as a central logistics hub for Central Europe and global SKD/CKD shipping.
Panattoni has realized its second project in Austria with its Park Ennshafen near Linz. On a site of approximately 65,000 square meters, a business park with variable rental units starting from 2,550 square meters for businesses was developed—in less than eleven months of construction. The area is connected trimodally to several European economic centers
via the Rhine-Main-Danube waterway, a nearby container terminal on the rail network, as well as the B1 federal road and the A1 Western Autobahn. "The Ennshafen industrial area is further enhanced by the Panattoni Park. Manufacturing and logistics-related companies especially benefit here from the convenient location and proximity to the Linz economic area," said Mag. Thomas Stelzer, Governor of Upper Austria.
Panattoni aims for the logistics property to be certified according to the DGNB Gold standard (German Sustainable Building Council). In addition to energy-efficient building technology and a PV system, the focus is on sustainable mobility and quality of stay, including a bike path,
ample bicycle parking spaces, and wellbeing areas with green recreation zones and leisure activities like boccia and table tennis.
Currently, rental spaces are still available in the business park. "We are in talks with interested parties from various sectors—from startups to internationally operating companies," said Winklbauer. "In the coming years, we want to be recognized as a long-term partner in Upper Austria. We will continuously expand our local commitment, including through new projects and close collaboration with municipalities and regional partners."
The property was acquired with the help of the Upper Austrian location agency Business Upper Austria. The project was realized with the general
