As of October 1, 2025, Andreas Fleischer, managing partner of DFI Real Estate, founded Eqvance Real Estate GmbH, based in Düsseldorf. Eqvance focuses on the sustainable development of logistics, industrial, and commercial spaces. The developer intends to combine efficient space concepts with technically demanding equipment and a focus on complying with high ecological standards, Eqvance Real Estate said in a press release on October 2.

A focus lies on flexible, modular usage concepts that enable urban and peri-urban integration of spaces. Thus, the properties are to be created that will endure for the future.

With 20 years of experience in the industry, Fleischer brings know-how to the new company. Together with an interdisciplinary team, he aims to develop real estate that harmonizes efficiency, sustainability, and economic viability – thereby offering

benefits to investors, users, municipalities and residents. Fleischer is also co-founder and board member of the Logistics Real Estate Initiative (Logix). He will remain the managing partner of the DFI Real Estate joint venture.

“Logistics real estate had long been purely functional buildings,” said Fleischer. “Today, spaces and locations should be digitally networked, climate-neutral and future-proof, so that they will still exist in 20 years.

This is exactly where Eqvance comes in, with the aim of effectively combining economic viability and sustainability.”

In addition, Eqvance aims to realize flexible and energy-efficient buildings that set ecological standards and also take future requirements into account.

Currently, the staffing and structural setup of Eqvance Real Estate is under way. This also includes discussions with potential partners as well as the evaluation of initial
