Not all challenges in the warehouse can be tackled with sheer power and size. Sometimes it is precisely compactness and maneuverability—the attributes that matter. For example, to realize optimal storage density in tight spaces and to maneuver safely and intuitively in narrow aisles. The Hamburg intralogistics specialist Still, against this backdrop, expands its reach truck portfolio with the particularly compact “FXR 14C-16C”. It is intended to enable efficient warehouse optimization in single- or two-shift operation, according to a press release dated November 3.

With the FXR 14C-16C reach truck, the Hamburg specialist for intralogistics solutions presents, therefore, a compact addition to its high-performance reach truck “FM-X” and thus targets companies with relatively modest requirements for their warehouse equipment, but a high demand for compactness, safety and cost-effectiveness.

Flexible working

and nimble maneuvering

The FXR 14C-16C reach truck is understood as the compact warehouse helper for operations where storage is tight, aisles are narrow, and shelves are a maximum of nine meters high. Up to this height and with a residual load capacity of up to 940 kilograms, the newest member of Still's reach truck family stores goods safely in and out, and — thanks to mechanical height measurement — precisely and quickly, according to the manufacturer. The reach mast in combination with the low working aisle width of minimum 2,723 millimeters should also enable flexible working and nimble maneuvering even in particularly narrow aisles – an important plus in highly dense warehouses where every meter of space counts. In addition, the particularly compact L2 dimension of at least

1,231 millimeters contributes, i.e., the distance from the rear of the truck to the back of the forks, according to Still. The low-maintenance 12-kW hoist motor provides, according to company statements, high lifting and lowering speeds and an efficient goods turnover, its integrated lithium-ion battery including fast-charge access enables high availability in single- and two-shift operation.

Modular assistance systems and a comprehensive ergonomic concept

The FXR 14C-16C is, according to Still, intuitive and safe to operate for users with little experience, thanks to standard safety systems such as Curve Speed Control (CSC) or automatic speed reduction at the main lift. In addition, the unique mast transverse offset should provide drivers with good visibility and thereby contribute to high safety for people, vehicle and goods.

Other safety features are optional,

for example the “STILL Safety Light”, the panoramic mirror, or the armored glass roof to protect against liquids or falling small parts.

For ergonomics, comfort and fatigue-free working, the operator's seat of the FXR 14C-16C can be configured individually – whether with different seat variants and settings, flexibly configurable steering, precise and intuitive control with the Joystick 4Plus or with the modern touch display. Many other small details, such as a USB port or a smartphone holder in the cockpit, are also intended to increase operator comfort.

Premiere at LogiMAT 2026

Interested parties will be able to experience the newest reach truck from Still live in a few months at the international trade fair LogiMAT in Stuttgart, from March 24 to 26, 2026 in Hall 10 at Stand B
