The Osnabrück-based refrigeration machine specialist Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe GmbH appointed Dietmar Hebel as the new Chief Operating Officer in April. This is according to a press release from the company dated May 15. In his new role, the transport refrigeration expert is responsible for the growth strategy and process optimization. The new COO is particularly tasked with supporting the MTTE management in the further development of the product portfolio for national and international customers.

“With his many years of experience in the

refrigerated vehicle segment and his network, Dietmar Hebel is an absolute asset to our team,” says MTTE Managing Director Björn Reckhorn. “He will support us in further market expansion in Europe and in developing tailored solutions for our customers.”

Since April 1, Dietmar Hebel has been leading the Operating Office Section of the MTTE, which is not only the general importer of Japanese Mitsubishi refrigeration systems but also a service provider for the entire European market.

“Absolute customer focus and teamwork are what I believe

make a good customer relationship and a long-term successful business relationship,” says Hebel. “In my new position, I will bring in my industry knowledge and experience to further promote our growth in the European market. I am committed to optimally utilizing the existing market potentials, for example in the further development of the multi-chamber device segment and in the electrification of refrigeration units.”

Hebel takes over the COO position from Alexander Allgaier, who took over sales management for the DACH region at MTTE last year.

Dietmar Hebel looks back on a long career in the commercial vehicle industry and transport refrigeration. The native of Osnabrück was previously employed as Head of Order Fulfillment at Carrier Transicold. Among other things, he was responsible for coordinating order processing and organizing final assemblies.
