Dr. Sven Boomgaarden will become Managing Director of Customer Service & Supply Chain (CS&SC) of the German business unit of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) as of July 1, 2025. He succeeds Tilmann Rothhammer, who is moving to the business unit France, Benelux, and Northern Europe as VP CS&SC. This was announced by the beverage company.
According to Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Boomgaarden brings nearly twelve years of experience from various leadership positions in the central team, in the Northern European and the German business unit of CCEP. In his new role, he reports to José Antonio Echeverría, Chief CS&SC Officer at CCEP, and
to John Galvin, CEO of CCEP Germany.
Prior to his appointment to the management board, Boomgaarden had been working with the central team at CCEP since 2021. Initially, he assumed the role of VP Strategy & Planning, followed by VP Strategy & Sustainable Future. According to the company, he made significant progress in shaping and developing the strategy for production, logistics, and customer service, as well as integrating the supply chain areas following the acquisition of Coca-Cola Amatil.
Career at Coca-Cola
Boomgaarden began his career at Coca-Cola in 2013 in Germany as the operations manager of the Fürstenfeldbruck plant. In April 2015,
he took over responsibility for ten plants in eastern and southern Germany. Subsequently, as Director of Supply Chain Business Transformation, he developed the supply chain strategy in Germany and moved to the Northern European business unit (NEBU) as VP CS&SC in 2019. Before joining CCEP, Boomgaarden was with Unilever, where he held various roles in manufacturing, planning, and quality.
Tilmann Rothhammer had been CS&SC Managing Director in Germany since 2019 and was responsible for around 5,000 employees in this role. Under his leadership, significant progress was made in areas of safety, service performance, digitalization, and welcoming culture, according to the company. His
achievements included the introduction of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), investments in new production lines, transformation of the production and logistics network, and promoting a welcoming culture, as further stated. From 2021 to 2024, Rothhammer was additionally responsible for supply chain activities in Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.
