24plus Systemverkehre GmbH & Co. KG has appointed Paul Walter as managing director on 13 October 2025. Together with Yvonne Besser, he will assume the leadership of the system headquarters in Hauneck near Bad Hersfeld and plans to advance 24plus strategically. The company announced this in a press release.
With his many years of experience in the logistics industry and a deep understanding of general
cargo collaborations, Walter brings extensive expertise to the company. As managing director at Sim Cargo GmbH in Sinzig, he was responsible, in addition to finances and controlling, in particular for digitization, IT development and HUB processes. Previously, at CTL Cargo Trans Logistik AG in Homberg/Efze, he was involved in digitizing central processes, further developing billing systems and optimizing network operations.
“In the short term, the
goal is to create stability and transparency for the network. That means analyzing existing processes, deliberately expanding strengths, and interlocking interfaces even more tightly. In the long term, we want to further develop 24plus as a powerful, digitally networked and future-proof general cargo network,” says Walter.
For him, it is essential to continuously modernize the IT systems, better leverage synergies between the partners, and promote
new collaborations. “My goal is for 24plus to remain for all partners a mid-sized, reliable, innovative and economically strong network,” he adds.
“I am pleased that we were able to win Paul Walter, an experienced logistics professional who knows our business and the challenges of the industry inside out. Together we will shape the future of 24plus successfully and further expand the general cargo network,”
