Gebhardt Intralogistics North America, a provider of automated material flow systems and technologies and a subsidiary of the Gebhardt Intralogistics Group, will expand its production capacities in the USA. This comes from a press release dated July 31, 2025.

The expansion concerns the Streetsboro location in the state of Ohio, where the company is already producing. The plan is to expand the existing production area by 3,670

With the investment, Gebhardt aims to deliver to North American customers faster, reduce transport costs, and expand local services. Currently, several automation components still come from the headquarters

of Gebhardt Fördertechnik GmbH in Sinsheim, Germany.

"We want to ensure that our customers receive the best possible product with shorter delivery times and on-site service," said Juergen Conrad, CEO of Gebhardt Intralogistics North America. "The opportunity to save part of the transport costs is also crucial for large automation projects. Many of our customers are bringing their production back to the USA and are heavily investing

in their intralogistic processes – both in distribution and manufacturing. It is only logical that we, as a reliable partner, work with them and support them where their production sites are."

According to the company, production in the USA will be based on the quality standards established in Germany. Ralf Buerkle, COO of Gebhardt Intralogistics North America, is responsible for the implementation and integration of the expanded
