The Norwegian warehouse technology specialist AutoStore is, according to its own statements, about to exceed the mark of 1,100 installations in the EMEA region and is introducing a new regional operating model.

According to a press release, AutoStore continues to gain significant momentum across the EMEA region, where the demand for high-performance automation remains at a high level. Currently, 931 active systems are in operation in 35 countries within the region, serving industries
such as retail, e-commerce, healthcare, and manufacturing - with an additional 172 systems pending installation.
In recent years alone, the company states that 322 new systems have been added in the EMEA region, reflecting the ongoing investments in scalable, future-proof automation solutions for high throughput environments. Today, AutoStore systems in the EMEA region operate with 34,301 robots, 33.7 million bins, and 8,659 ports, according to the provider.
Cooperation Anniversary with Element Logic
To lead the next phase in the region, Frode S. Robberstad has been appointed as President of EMEA according to a press release. Robberstad has been part of AutoStore from the beginning and was the first to operate an AutoStore system in a live environment in
2002. Since 2017, he has played a key role in building the AutoStore partner network and commercial presence in the region, it says.
In addition, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the first AutoStore system operated by Element Logic. This early collaboration laid the foundation for a new era of warehouse automation based on modularity, efficiency, and long-term value creation, AutoStore is convinced.
