The software provider Opheo Solutions has gained another prominent customer, BLG Logistics, for its transport management and scheduling solutions. The goal of the collaboration is to digitize and optimize the logistics company's scheduling processes.
Deployment of Modern Software for Route Planning
The decision for the modular Opheo software was made after a comprehensive market analysis and a multi-stage selection process, the software company states. The solution is intended to automate and make the route planning and scheduling at BLG Logistics more efficient in
the future. Key functions include intelligent planning algorithms, integrated telematics, dashboards for scheduling, and continuous real-time shipment tracking. It is understood that BLG aims to optimize fleet utilization and improve communication with drivers, among other things.
"We are very pleased to support BLG Logistics on the path to even more efficient and sustainable transport logistics," says Markus Rachow, Head of Sales Opheo. "With Opheo, dispatchers at BLG receive a powerful tool that helps them master the daily challenges of scheduling more easily while
also unlocking potential for cost savings and CO₂ reduction."
