A new logistics hall by Gebrüder Weiss in Aldingen is planned to be 4,000 square meters in size. According to the company, the logistics provider aims to double its capacity at the location in the Nagelsee industrial park.

According to company information, starting from October 1, 2025, Gebrüder Weiss will take over as a franchise partner in the Europe-wide CargoLine network to connect to the general cargo network—since Swiss Post Cargo has announced its withdrawal from the German
general cargo business by autumn 2025.
Currently, around 70 employees are employed at the Aldingen site, and the company expects approximately 300,000 shipments in 2026. Customers from the mechanical and plant engineering, automotive, and ventilation and air conditioning technology sectors will be served, it says.
The new facility is equipped with
a rooftop photovoltaic system that is expected to generate around 390,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. This will be used for electrically powered conveyor vehicles, trucks, and cars, as well as for building climate control. According to the company, the investments in the expansion and modernizations of the site total around
