The Raben Trans-European Germany GmbH (Raben Germany) has officially opened its newly expanded site in Garching together with customers, partners and employees.
This is intended to signal further growth and long-term investments in the capabilities of the German network, the company says.
Expanded Capacities
With the move from Robert-Bosch-Straße to Schleißheimer
Straße, the previous capacities have been multiplied. The new site offers approximately 13,000 square meters of total floor space - of which 8,500 square meters are handling/transshipment space and 4,500 square meters are storage and logistics space.
The expansion not only creates additional space but also aims to strengthen operational capability
in the southern German region. The Garching branch also serves as a central hub for national and international traffic – especially for southern Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
Efficiency Gains
Optimized transshipment processes, improved traffic connections, and additional storage capacity should enable more efficient workflows and faster response times in day-to-day
operations, the logistics provider said.
The site offers modern infrastructure, optimized space layouts, and flexible usage options for tailored logistics solutions, according to the company.
Raben Trans-European Germany currently has, according to its own statements, 33 branches, around 370,000 square meters of storage capacity and a fleet of more than 2,100
