Montblanc has chosen Arvato as its new logistics partner for its worldwide fulfillment. Arvato announced this on November 17. The collaboration covers the entire handling of deliveries to business customers as well as to end consumers and is managed from the logistics center in Düren.
Düren site takes over global distribution
The Arvato site in Düren functions, according to the company, as a central hub for the worldwide distribution of Montblanc products. From there, deliveries to more than 60 countries are shipped by road and air freight. Thanks to proximity to international airports and
the implementation of same-day shipping processes, prompt delivery should be possible.
Omnichannel concept for B2B and B2C
The operating concept is based on a central inventory for all distribution channels. Arvato combines, according to its own statement, a One-Stock setup for business and private customers with automated processes and digitized workflows. The systems deployed provide real-time transparency across all channels, according to the company, and contribute to inventory accuracy.
Value-added services integrated
In addition to the logistics processes, Arvato also takes on so-called Value Added Services. These tasks are carried out, according to the
statement, by specially trained personnel. The aim is to meet Montblanc's quality requirements for processing and presentation of the products along the entire logistics chain.
"We are very proud to begin the partnership with Montblanc by combining operational excellence and precision with a clear focus on the best possible customer experience along the entire purchasing process," says Julia Börs, a member of Arvato's management board. "Luxury brands expect perfection at every step, and we have developed a solution and built a team to meet exactly these requirements in the supply chain as well."
Implementation
in two phases
According to Arvato, operations for end-customer deliveries have already started successfully. The integration of business orders is planned for July 2026. With the completion of the second phase, a fully harmonized logistics model for Montblanc's worldwide business is expected to be available.
Collaboration based on close coordination
Both companies emphasize, according to the statement, close coordination and similar requirements for quality and processes as the basis of the partnership. The choice of the logistics service provider was also made by Montblanc in light of a consistent brand experience across all distribution
