With the introduction of the "E3-5 Zero Virgin," the Craemer Group is presenting a new version of its proven plastic pallet for heavy-duty applications. The latest variant of the E3-5 is made entirely from recycled plastic and is targeted at companies committed to a consistent circular economy. Under the term "Zero Virgin," Craemer understands the avoidance of newly used (i.e., virgin) plastic in favor of reprocessed material from its own production.
Plastic industrial pallet for automated logistics environments
The E3-5 belongs to the category of industrial
pallets in the format 1200 x 1000 x 160 millimeters and is designed for use in automated and heavily loaded logistics environments. It weighs 24.5 kilograms and features five continuous runners, which, like the entire pallet, are made of high-quality polyethylene (PE). The omission of optional equipment elements such as "Palgrip" anti-slip strips or anti-slip runners reduces complexity and costs, without impairing the functional integrity of the pallet, it is said.
1,400 kilograms in high-bay storage without additional slip resistance
For use in high-bay storage, the
E3-5 has a load capacity of up to 1,400 kilograms. The high bending stiffness is achieved through six integrated metal profiles. The ribbed design of the runners emphasizes the robustness of the construction, which is designed for a long service life even with a high number of cycles. Due to its puristic-functional design, the pallet is particularly suitable for applications where additional slip resistance is not required.
"Zero Virgin" recycling pallet from discarded plastic products
The Zero Virgin version is based on plastic material that is
processed from discarded plastic products in its own extrusion process. This internal recycling loop ensures consistently high material quality and enables a fully recyclable pallet solution. This allows Craemer to contribute to reducing raw material consumption and closing material loops. Additionally, the company is investing in the expansion of renewable energies and plans to use its own wind power and photovoltaic systems to supply its production sites.
The new E3-5 Zero Virgin will be presented at the FACHPACK trade fair in Nuremberg.
