Fiat Professional has rounded off its program with factory-supplied body solutions for the Fiat Ducato. As recently announced at a Stellantis Pro One event, Gruau provides a lightweight box for chassis that comes standard with a tailgate and loading ramp or a two-part rear wing door. The load volume is up to 20.5 cubic meters. Durisotti's Multicab extension includes an additional four-seater bench in the van's cargo area. This allows the Fiat Ducato to accommodate up to seven people.
The new lightweight box from Gruau is available for single-cab chassis of the Fiat Ducato and
the electrically powered Fiat E-Ducato in lengths L3 and L4. There is generally a choice between a tailgate and a double-winged rear door. The tailgate is standard combined with a loading ramp (load capacity 750 kilograms), which can also be ordered as an option for the rear door. The boxes offer 18.5 or 20.5 cubic meters of load volume. The Fiat Ducato equipped with the lightweight box with a combustion engine (permissible total weight 3.5 tons) can carry up to 1,060 kilograms. The Fiat E-Ducato (permissible total weight 4.25 tons) handles up to 1,100 kilograms.
Further options are a swing door on the right side and a roof box instead of the standard roof spoiler. This is accessible from the driver's cab and extends the load volume by one cubic meter. The standard equipment of the lightweight box includes, among other things, lashing rails, a non-slip wooden floor, LED ceiling light, and side walls made of GRP/gelcoat polyester panels.
Multicab: Seven Seats and up to 12.5 Cubic Meters
The Multicab/double-cabin solution from Durisotti consists of a prefabricated element with four full-fledged seats equipped with seat belts and headrests. The bench
can be ordered for the Fiat Ducato van in lengths L2, L3, and L4 as well as with a single passenger seat and double seat. The conversion offers up to seven seats and, depending on the body length, up to 12.5 cubic meters of load volume. Integrated into the bench are cup holders in front of all seats as well as storage space under the cushions. The thermoformed partition wall is equipped with a window.
