Not all challenges in the warehouse can be tackled with sheer force and size. Sometimes it is precisely compactness and maneuverability that matter. For example, to realize optimal storage density in the tightest spaces and to maneuver safely and intuitively in narrow aisles. The Hamburg intralogistics specialist Still, against this background, expands its reach truck portfolio with the particularly compact 'FXR 14C-16C'. It is intended to enable efficient warehouse optimization in single- or two-shift operation, according to a press release dated November 3.
With the reach truck FXR 14C-16C, the Hamburg specialist for intralogistics solutions accordingly presents a compact addition to its high-performance reach truck 'FM-X' and thus targets companies with relatively modest requirements for their warehouse equipment, but a high demand for compactness, safety and cost-effectiveness.
Flexible operation and
agile maneuvering
The reach truck FXR 14C-16C is positioned as the compact warehouse helper for operations where storage is tight, aisles are narrow and shelves are up to nine meters high. Up to this height and with a residual load capacity of up to 940 kilograms, the latest member of Still's reach truck family safely stores and retrieves goods, and that thanks to mechanical height measurement, precisely and quickly, according to the manufacturer. The reach mast in combination with the low working aisle width of a minimum 2,723 millimeters should also enable flexible working and agile maneuvering even in especially narrow aisles – an important plus in highly dense warehouses where every meter counts when optimizing space. Also contributing is the particularly compact l2 dimension of at least 1,231 millimeters,
i.e., the distance from the rear of the forklift to the fork backs, Still says. The low-maintenance 12-kW hoist motor, according to the company, ensures high lifting and lowering speeds and an efficient goods turnover, its integrated lithium-ion battery including rapid charging access allows high availability in single- and two-shift operation.
Modular assistance systems and a seamless ergonomic concept
According to Still, the FXR 14C-16C is also intuitive and safe to operate for users with little experience, thanks to standard safety systems such as the curve speed control “Curve Speed Control” (CSC) or automatic speed reduction in the main lift. In addition, the unique mast transverse offset should give drivers good visibility and thus contribute to high safety for people, equipment and goods.
Other safety features are optionally selectable, for
example the “STILL Safety Light”, the panoramic mirror or the armored glass roof to protect against liquids or falling small parts.
For ergonomics, comfort and fatigue-free work, the operator's seat of the FXR 14C-16C can be individually configured – whether with different seat variants and settings, a flexibly configurable steering, precise and intuitive control with the Joystick 4Plus or the modern touch display. Many other small details, such as a USB port or a mobile phone holder in the cockpit, are also intended to increase driver comfort.
Premiere at LogiMAT 2026
Interested parties will be able to experience the latest reach truck from Still live in just a few months at the international trade fair LogiMAT in Stuttgart, from 24 to 26 March 2026 in Hall 10 at Stand B
