Cleaning specialist Kärcher has revamped its TB portal washing systems for commercial vehicles. The new features aim particularly at greater efficiency, easier handling, and optimized cleaning performance – and thus a more economical vehicle care in commercial use.

A central upgrade is the improved underbody and side cleaning: Low-maintenance power nozzles with 60 bar pressure and a water flow rate of 100 l/min provide a powerful high-pressure wash, which is intended to reduce the need

for manual pre-washing. New mounts with a tilting system specifically reinforce the water jet on soiled vehicle areas. Additionally, double-arranged high-pressure nozzles with different orientations and automated detergent application allow for a time-saving and thorough pre-wash – even for complex vehicle shapes.

For even more user-friendly operation, the portal washing systems have been equipped with a new control unit including a touch display. Depending on the version, manual control switches are also available. This allows

operators to flexibly adjust washing parameters to different vehicle types.

New Generation of Stationary Hot Water High-Pressure Systems

With this further development, Kärcher continues its innovation strategy. Recently, the company introduced a new generation of its stationary hot water high-pressure systems – the first fundamental revision in over 40 years. In addition to a modernized control concept with a rotary switch and revamped electronics, the devices impress with robust technology: Crankshaft pump, water-cooled electric motor,

and large-volume water filter ensure durability in continuous use. The centrally installable systems deliver up to 108 kW of heating power and enable high-pressure cleaning at several extraction points through a permanently installed pipeline network – without time-consuming preparations.

The year 2025 also marks an anniversary for Kärcher: Founded 90 years ago as a heating technology workshop by Alfred Kärcher in Stuttgart, the family business has developed into a globally leading provider of cleaning technology.
