Automotive accessories specialist Berner is now offering across Europe a new service for the compliant storage of chemicals and other hazardous substances with 'Bera Chemical Storage'. The offering targets automotive and commercial-vehicle businesses that wish to store their operating fluids in a compliant and safe manner.
Several versions of the hazardous
materials cabinets are available, which can be configured individually according to space requirements and needs. According to the manufacturer, the models are certified to EN 14470-1/2 and offer a fire-resistance rating of at least 90 minutes – both from the outside to the inside and vice versa.
Three safety levels for
the storage of lithium-ion batteries
In addition to cabinets for chemicals, Berner also offers special variants for storing lithium-ion batteries. These are available in three safety levels:
- Core: with evacuation and alarm forwarding concept
- Pro: with enhanced monitoring features in smoke gas management
- Ultra: with active smoke gas management and comprehensive
- monitoring
