With the "KAMAG PrecisionTractor 201" ("PT 201"), the TII Group is launching an advanced version of its semi-trailer tractor introduced in 2021. The vehicle is designed for in-house maneuvering of semi-trailers and container chassis. With the new model, TII Kamag particularly addresses operators of large logistics sites who rely on robust, maintenance-friendly, and comfortable vehicle solutions for their yard operations.
Compared to the previous model, the PT 201 has been adjusted particularly in the areas of ergonomics, safety, efficiency, and maintenance friendliness. The cabin of the new model has been redesigned and now offers more space, better visibility, and a pneumatic driver's seat with an optional seat heating.

This is complemented by a new arrangement of the controls and easier access to the cab.

In terms of safety, the PT 201 meets the ECE-R29 requirements for
commercial vehicles. The requirements regulate the protection of commercial vehicle cabin occupants in accidents. The ECE R29 includes a total of three test descriptions: frontal impact, roof strength, and rear wall strength. The PT 2012 is expected to further enhance visibility on the operational site with an improved mirror arrangement, additional wide-angle mirrors, and expanded LED lighting.
The technical structure of the maneuvering vehicle essentially remains unchanged but has been selectively optimized. The hydrostatic drive continues to allow precise and low-wear maneuvers. The fifth wheel coupling is hydraulically height-adjustable and achieves an increased lifting speed of 50 millimeters per second.
Simplified maintenance through tiltable cabin
The vehicle has also been designed for
simplified maintenance: A tiltable cabin provides access to engine and hydraulic components. According to the manufacturer, the Deutz TCD 5.2 L4 engine of the PT 201 is suitable for operation with paraffinic diesel fuel (HVO) and meets current emission standards.
The top speed of the PT 201 is 40 km/h, the hydraulically height-adjustable fifth wheel coupling picks up load carriers with a lifting speed of 50 mm/s. Thanks to a small turning circle and a steering angle of up to 52 degrees, the vehicle is also supposed to handle tight spaces.
