Ciblex, a provider of express courier services and a member of the Walden Express International group, has entered into a strategic partnership with the technology company Zetes. The aim of this collaboration is the comprehensive digitization of Ciblex's transport and logistics processes to improve traceability, efficiency, and transparency in the supply chain.
As part of this initiative, Ciblex is relying on the "ZetesMedea" solution to modernize processes at the loading docks and increase their reliability. At the same time, "ZetesChronos" is being used to enable real-time tracking of deliveries.
More efficiency at the loading dock and seamless tracking
This modernization replaces existing legacy systems with the latest generation of mobile solutions that allow for optimized data capture, automated transmission, and
accelerated processing. The aim is not only to make operations more efficient at the loading docks but also to ensure seamless tracking of deliveries to the end customer.
"The success of this project is largely due to Zetes' ability to quickly understand our challenges—they have comprehensively understood the specific aspects of our operational environment—as well as the efficient collaboration of our teams. Although the solution is still in the rollout phase across our entire network, we are already seeing a high level of acceptance among our operational teams," said Mélanie Ogier, Director of Projects and Innovation at Ciblex.
Ciblex has an international network of 125 branches and depots. Daily, around 2,500 delivery tours are coordinated and approximately 450,000 parcels are
processed. The digitization affects all areas of the company, including locations, depots, and all relevant delivery processes. Zetes' solutions are intended to improve interoperability between the various networks and create end-to-end visibility of the supply chain.
Acceptance among employees
Zetes has already implemented a comparable project under tight time constraints in Belgium. Based on this, Ciblex is now launching the company's largest digitization initiative to date in France. The project is being carried out in close coordination with Ciblex's operational teams and is flexibly adapted to operational requirements. Particular emphasis is placed on close collaboration and continuous change management to ensure high employee acceptance.
"Users are learning to use the system smoothly and efficiently. In particular, the project addresses a
key challenge in today's transport sector: How can the work of drivers—from the loading dock to the end customer—be simplified? The initial feedback regarding traceability and operational processes is very positive, and I am convinced that this solution will make a noticeable contribution to improving the customer experience," Ogier continued.
An important step in Ciblex's transformation process was the integration of Relais Colis, a network specialized in B2C deliveries, which became part of the Walden corporate group in 2022. This integration marked a turning point in becoming more agile and connected. Zetes' solutions support the improvement of coordination between the logistics networks of Ciblex and Relais Colis. The goal is to strengthen traceability and automation of processes and enable smarter
