In 2013, the three major German commercial vehicle suppliers Bosch, Knorr-Bremse, and ZF founded Alltrucks Truck & Trailer Service. Since then, the joint workshop company has grown to become one of the largest franchise networks in Europe with around 700 connected operations for independent maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles. Now, Alltrucks announces the withdrawal of the Friedrichshafen technology group ZF as a shareholder. The declaration was signed by all parties on May 28, 2025. According to the press release, Bosch and Knorr-Bremse now intend to further develop the concept as equal owners.

Apparently, nothing will

change in the facility itself: the project will continue, but now under the leadership of only two shareholders. According to the announcement, the Stuttgart and Munich companies have decided to continue and expand the brand with the same franchise concept as a comprehensive service for cross-brand maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles:

“Alltrucks will thus continue to offer its customers reliable and innovative solutions and tap into business opportunities and potentials in the commercial vehicle aftermarket,”

it states. ZF itself has not yet commented on its exit. A few months ago, the company announced restructurings due

to declining revenues in 2024.

Under the brand Alltrucks Truck & Trailer Service, commercial vehicle workshops receive premium service offerings from leading supplier companies for everything from light to heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers, but also up to buses, construction, and agricultural machinery of all common brands. Services include multi-brand vehicle diagnostics, replacement parts from participating suppliers in OEM quality, and multiple advisory services such as hotline support, marketing support, training programs, quality management, and the provision of technical information. Alltrucks also cooperates with leading industry partners, such as the trailer manufacturer Krone or TotalEnergies,

to ensure comprehensive offerings in Europe.

Connected workshops benefit, for example, from the comprehensive expertise of highly qualified commercial vehicle specialists also through regularly offered training sessions. According to their own statements, all warranties remain intact even with new vehicles through repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Fleets with mixed vehicle types benefit especially from the cross-manufacturer approach of the workshop network, where they can practically have all their vehicles serviced at such centers. For immediate repair, the closest connected workshops can be located via the Alltrucks platform. The headquarters of Alltrucks is located in
