As of August 1, 2025, the Bilstein Group will rebrand the entire turbocharger program from Motair to its aftermarket brand Febi. For workshops and parts dealers, the integration primarily brings structural changes in brand management, logistics, and order processing.
Uniform Product Labeling
Instead of continuing to operate under two brands, all turbochargers, ProKits, and accessories will be offered exclusively under the Febi name. The Bilstein Group aims to provide better clarity
in the product range and simplify brand communication. Existing Motair products will be available until the end of July.
Future Delivery Centralized from Gelsenkirchen
With the change, logistics will also be reorganized: Starting in August, delivery will be centralized through the Bilstein Group's logistics center in Gelsenkirchen. According to the company, this will lead to improved availability. For customers, this means a change in source and possibly adjusted processes for ordering
and inventory management.
Restructuring at the Cologne Location
The current Motair site in Cologne will continue as a "Turbo Competence Centre" within the Bilstein Group. Production and remanufacturing will be reorganized here. Contacts and processes may change as a result.
Comprehensive Product Range
The new Febi turbocharger program includes around 2,600 turbochargers, over 670 ProKits, and a wide range of accessories. According to the manufacturer, it covers about 95 percent of
common European applications. The products are still available through well-known platforms such as TecDoc and the "bilstein group partsfinder."
What Customers Should Note Now
Workshops and parts dealers need to adjust to new product names and centralized logistics. At the same time, the differentiation between two brands is eliminated, which may lead to clearer allocation in practical use. The Bilstein Group announces that it will continuously inform about further steps in
