VWN lowers prices: In Germany, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is now offering special "Energy" models for the Caddy, ID. Buzz, and Multivan with extensive assistance packages at particularly favorable prices for a limited time. For example, the price advantages for the Multivan and Caddy are around 25 percent. For the ID. Buzz, there are country-specific individual price advantages: these amount to up to 50 percent or 2,823 euros on the "Energy" inclusions. This is reported by the manufacturer of light commercial vehicles in its press release today, July 9, 2025. The inclusions for the ID.Buzz are also expected to be available in other European markets later.
The equipment packages are described as follows
The design packages include contrasting, partly black-painted exterior components, seat heaters, or extensive light and visibility as well as assistance packages, including. This also includes price advantages of the Energy special models of over 1,000 euros net or 25 percent compared to the comparable larger packages of a Caddy Life. For the ID. Buzz, the Energy advantage for the additional equipment in the special model is up to 50 percent or up to 2,823 euros compared to the comparable equipment in the ID. Buzz Pro, as several assistance packages are already included in the Energy model – for the Multivan, depending on the engine, between 1,001 and 1,238 euros or up to 25 percent less.
The Caddy Energy
For the Caddy Energy,
available as diesel/petrol or e-hybrid, this means specifically: The passenger car models based on the Caddy variant "Life" are equipped with the multicolored digital cockpit, the driver assistant Travel Assist, and a rearview camera system. But also parking assist at the front and rear, as well as a parking steering assistant, keyless central locking, electrically adjustable, heated, and foldable exterior mirrors with contrasting black-painted mirror housings are on board. Darkened rear side and rear windows absorb 74 percent of the light, an aluminum pedal set as well as separately adjustable seat heating for the front seats are also included. That's not all: driver assistants like the Light Assist plus automatic headlight control as well as the lane-keeping assistant and the Emergency Assist are also included in the Caddy Energy, as well as the automatically dimming interior mirror, sensor-controlled windshield wiper system, or a silver roof railing.

range control, and bad weather including cornering light. The Basic parking package includes the rearview camera system and the Park Assist parking steering assistant, including parking aids in the front and rear areas. The offer is additionally enhanced by the Travel Assist, including lane-keeping assistant and Emergency Assist.
Other features of the Multivan Energy include an aluminum-look pedal set, a heated multifunction steering wheel, the multicolored digital cockpit pro, separately adjustable seat heating for the front seats, a three-zone climate control system Air Care Climatronic, front windows made of thermal glass (tinted in the rear), and the proactive occupant protection system PreCrash. Ambient lighting at the tailgate, footwell lighting for the second row of seats, and 30-color ambient lighting complete the light package. Visually, this special Multivan model stands out with black 17" alloy wheels of the Dundrod type and Energy logos on the steering wheel clasp and on the D-pillar from the standard counterpart.
The ID. Buzz Energy
The battery-electric ID. Buzz Energy also features numerous packages: These include an assistance, infotainment, and comfort package already in the basic version. They include, among other things, automatic distance control ACC stop & go with speed limiter, a theft alarm system, parking assistant including parking aids, illuminated door handle recesses, as well as central locking with keyless locking and starting system Keyless Advanced. The infotainment system comes as standard with nine speakers, a mobile phone
interface with inductive charging function, the Discover Pro navigation system, and voice control. The comfort package includes, among others, separately adjustable seat heaters for the front seats, heated thermal insulation glazing on the windshield, a heated multifunction steering wheel, USB-C interfaces and charging port with up to 45 W charging power, as well as a removable center console with various storage compartments. The ID. Buzz drives with 19" wheels named Tilburg.
The Prices
The prices of the special Energy model based on the Caddy Life start in Germany at 31,680 euros net (37,699.20 euros gross) for the family van, i.e., the passenger car version with a normal wheelbase, and at 34,200 euros net (40,698.00 euros gross) for its long version Maxi. Both Caddy Life Energy drive with an 85-kW TSI petrol engine with a six-speed manual transmission.
The prices of the Multivan Energy start at 53,150 euros net (63,248.50 euros gross) for the version with a short overhang and at 54,865 euros net (65,289.35 euros gross) with a long overhang, both powered by the 2.0-l TDI engine with 110 kW/150 PS and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The prices of the ID. Buzz Energy start at 54,115 euros net (64,396.85 euros gross) for the version with a normal wheelbase and 55,650 euros net (66,223.50 euros) for the version with a long wheelbase.
