Time is money – and searching for suitable repair kits in workshops is often time-consuming. The expert for electronic and mechanical vehicle parts headquartered in Oldenburg has now released its Expert Kit Finder. With just a few clicks, users can intuitively conjure up the right repair kit, whether it's for an oil change, brake service, or other measures.
According to the provider, the system creates an optimally tuned recipe for every repair need, which not only includes all the necessary parts, but also mounting materials and accessories. The kits are composed of the Vierol quality brands Vemo, Vaico, and ACKOJA.
Revolutionary Solution
Ibrahim Chahrour, Head of Marketing & Product Management at Vierol AG, says users can save valuable time with the solution:
"The tedious search for individual parts across
different systems is now a thing of the past. The Expert Kit Finder unites a completely new way of identifying comprehensive repair solutions for workshops."
The AI-supported search mainly contributes to speed. But the solution includes other components to make searching and handling the application easier: for example, a user interface reduced to the essentials was chosen, accompanied by a virtual assistant throughout the entire identification process. Additionally, there is a vehicle document scanner included that makes manual inputs for vehicle identification unnecessary. Finally, the solution is designed as a learning system–which means workshops can contribute their own suggestions via the chat-bot.
Recipe from Own Brands
The required clicks for selection do not even require vehicle information to be provided. The chat-bot guides the user through the selection process
based on questions. The Expert Kits from the family-owned company founded in 1977, which covers a range from conventional parts for engines and transmissions to emission-reduction components and modern electric and hybrid vehicle components, come from the own brands Vemo, Vaico, and ACKOJA. "The user-friendliness and speed of the system are unbeatable," says Michael Krone, Executive Board Member for IT and Logistics at Vierol and responsible for the innovation.
The application improves continuously through use as a "learning system." The integrated chat-bot can also be used to indicate missing parts in the kit. There is also the option to contact the kit experts via the interface. Chahrour:
"These valuable insights flow into the development of new Expert Kits that are thus even more tailored to the practical needs of
the workshop community. From practice for practice!"
The Expert Kit Finder website is usable via usual devices and begins with the selection of the vehicle brand or the repair site on the vehicle. From there, the tool guides users through simple questions from the chat-bot to various solutions.
Vierol employs around 200 people and supplies over 125 countries from a portfolio of more than 50,000 vehicle parts.
