On September 12, 2025, Daimler Truck officially commissioned its new Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle center in Aschheim near Munich. From now on, on the approximately 44,500 square meter site, sales and service for trucks of the Mercedes-Benz and FUSO brands as well as service for buses of the Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands and for Mercedes-Benz vans are offered. With a focus on vehicles with alternative drive technologies, the new location is intended to meet the requirements of commercial and fleet customers in the Munich region. In addition to service and
sales, the new commercial vehicle center is to become a central point for Daimler Truck's financial services business.
Stina Fagerman, Head of Marketing, Sales and Services for Mercedes-Benz Trucks, comments as follows:
“The truck business is fundamentally very complex, advisory-intensive and characterized by strong relationships between us and our customers. Through our group-owned trading operations and locations, we are in close contact with them and can continuously develop our products and services. In the past two years alone we have put seven new commercial vehicle centers into operation in
Europe, two of which are in Germany.”
The approximately 3,200 square meter workshop area is designed for alternative propulsion solutions, which is why high-voltage workstations have also been installed to service battery-electric models. With a so-called roof workstation, employees can work more comfortably on vehicle roofs during maintenance. For vehicles with hydrogen-based propulsion technologies, there is a gas workstation with gas sensors and a dedicated exhaust system. The workshop itself is, among other things, equipped with a truck lift system that can lift a complete truck-trailer combination. With two
workshop vans, the site in Aschheim intends to participate in mobile breakdown service in and around Munich.
The new commercial vehicle center is located directly on the A99 at the Kirchheim junction near Munich and employs around 100 people. On-site there are six charging columns with twelve charging points for customers and employees.
