The BEUMER Group presents as an exhibitor at the concurrently held trade fairs FACHPACK and POWTECH in Nürnberg (23–25 September 2025) a new digital solution for process optimization, condition monitoring and maintenance for conveying technology and end-of-line packaging lines. The Beckum-based company announced this ahead of the trade shows. “BEUMER Guardian” helps customers increase their operational efficiency through advanced data diagnostics. Customers could choose between the two variants “BEUMER Guardian Advanced” and “BEUMER Guardian Performance,” which are tailored to the different needs of companies in sectors such as construction materials, petrochemicals, the cement industry and also consumer goods and logistics.

“Our customers want to align the maintenance and upkeep of their Beumer systems toward a predictable, efficient and risk-reducing strategy,” says Christian Gottenströter, Product Manager Digital Solutions Diagnostic Center at

the Beumer Group. “Our customers tell us that they need simple and effective solutions that adapt to their specific operating models and maintenance strategies. It is exactly here that our customer-oriented and flexible offering for data diagnostics and process optimization comes in. With BEUMER Guardian we offer the two service levels that are needed on the customer side.”

Embedded in a Lifetime Partner Program, the customer at BEUMER Guardian has the choice between two different levels of support. The new varying pricing models for new installations, such as Pay-per-Use (PPU) and Rent-to-own, are intended to round out the demand-oriented offering.

Gottenströter adds:

“Some of our customers even prefer to take a very active role in monitoring and maintaining their machines. For them BEUMER Guardian Advanced is the right solution, while

others wish for a fully managed solution such as BEUMER Guardian Performance, where the BEUMER Group with the Global Monitoring Center takes over the monitoring of the plants and proactively attends to issues via the hotline to relieve the customer in their daily business. This flexible model reflects the dynamic market conditions in which customers operate. It helps them minimize operating risks and focus on their core business.”

According to the provider, BEUMER Guardian offers advantages such as a live insight into ongoing operations and fast as well as targeted problem detection through the 24/7 monitoring of the facilities and proactive hotline support. BEUMER Guardian enables both performance-based and condition-based plant monitoring, the planning of maintenance, as well as automated structured reporting and documentation.

Visitors of FACHPACK and POWTECH will

also get an insight at the company’s stand into the high-performance palletising and stretch hood technology. In the palletising technology segment, Beumer offers, according to its own statements, layer palletisers and palletising robots: The “BEUMER paletpac” systems are suitable for palletising bagged goods such as plaster, screeds, granules and powdered products.

Palletising reliably

The “BEUMER robotpac” palletising robot takes on the reliable stacking of various containers such as trays, cartons, buckets or drums in several layers with or without interleaf. The “BEUMER stretch hood A” is suitable for packaging a wide range of goods, from palletised construction materials and cement to electronics, food and beverages. It offers, according to the provider, high load security during transport and storage by ensuring pallet stability and minimizing the risk of slipping.
