Uber Eats now offers the option to order over-the-counter health and care products through the Uber Eats app in collaboration with the digital platform Cure. To start, more than 70 pharmacies in 25 German cities — including Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, and Cologne — are connected to the service, as stated in a press release dated August 13, 2025.

The offering includes around 8,500 freely available items,

including medications for everyday ailments, products to refresh home pharmacies, dietary supplements, as well as skin and body care products. Delivery is usually made within 30 minutes by couriers from Uber Eats' fleet partners. The delivery fee depends on distance and location.

“Health products are an integral part of everyday life for many people — making fast and reliable delivery all the more important, as Uber

Eats customers are accustomed to,” says Moritz Bernhard, General Manager Uber Direct and Grocery & Retail in Germany.

In addition to integrating local pharmacies into the Uber Eats app, the company is already working with online retailers in the pharmaceutical sector through Uber Direct to deliver orders received through their own channels on the same day.

Ali El-Ali, CEO and Co-Founder of Cure, emphasizes the importance

of the partnership: “With Cure, we strengthen the position of local pharmacies and offer them new ways to connect directly with their customers — straightforward, modern, and customer-oriented.”

The cooperation is part of Uber’s global strategy to continually expand offerings on the Uber Eats marketplace, according to the provider. The “Health & Wellness” category is already established in other markets, including the United Kingdom and Portugal.
