At the transport logistic fair, taking place from June 2 to 5 in Munich, BTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor GmbH demonstrates through customer examples how it aims to implement requirements in robust, sustainable, and transparent transport and logistics processes individually. The core of this service consists of 320 modern trucks in local and long-distance traffic and 38,000 square meters of logistics space in the greater Rosenheim-Munich area. Established networks and digitized processes from A for order to Z for delivery are intended to form a scalable system,

with which BTK currently handles an average of around 700 shipments per day in transport logistics and up to 1,000 shipments per day for customers in the contract logistics business area.

Continuous investment in resource-efficient technologies and processes is intended to reduce CO2 emissions in transport and logistics processes. The goal is the complete decarbonization of the company. At the fair, BTK provides information on sustainable approaches and innovation projects. Topics include how data-driven route planning can avoid empty mileage, BTK's experiences with alternative drive technologies

from electric to HVO 100 to bio-LNG, and how they create data transparency in supply chains with customers and partners.

"The big ones get bigger. Small ones disappear," says BTK shareholder Josef Heiß. "As an owner-managed medium-sized company, we operate in a cost-driven and price-sensitive market." With digitized processes, own equipment, and close collaborations, they would create sustainable relationships through which they grow long-term with their customers. BTK will present itself at the transport logistic 2025 on a joint stand of ELVIS.

"With every decision we

make, we take responsibility," says Heiß. "Not only for our customers, but also for our company."

Therefore, they would rely on concepts that are realistic and sustainable. This mindset makes the difference. "Access to data enables economic decisions. That's why we invest in the digitization of our processes and always think beyond the boundaries of our own company," emphasizes Heiß, who will speak on June 2 at 2:30 PM at a forum on the topic "Medium-Sized Transport Industry: Outdated or Future Model?" in Hall A3.
