Effective October 1, 2025, Gebrüder Weiss GmbH branch office in Aldingen and CargoLine will cooperate. This will also gain the groupage cooperation a new franchisee for the region.
Swiss Post Cargo withdraws
According to the information, the previous network partner for Aldingen, Swiss Post
Cargo (formerly Hugger GmbH), wants to gradually abandon the groupage business in Germany by September 30, 2025.
Gebrüder Weiss operates a logistics facility in Aldingen with a 6,000 square meter transshipment area and 65 loading bays. Currently, 70 employees are employed there.

very pleased to fill the region around the long-standing Aldingen location with a new partner. Gebrüder Weiss is highly skilled in the groupage business and will significantly strengthen our network on site,” explains CargoLine Managing Director Jörn Peter Struck.
