The tire manufacturer Hankook aims to accommodate growth in the delivery sector with commercial vehicles up to seven and a half tons of gross vehicle weight, according to its own statements. This sector grew by 15 percent across Europe in 2024, according to the company.

The new Vantra Transit is now being presented, which combines innovative technologies with a robust construction and is designed to ensure reduced wear
with optimized tread design and a wider contact patch.
According to the manufacturer, it offers up to 18 percent longer mileage compared to its predecessor. The innovative tread compound reduces rolling resistance by 15 percent compared to conventional tires in the transporter segment, according to the claims.
Furthermore, the reinforced carcass structure is intended to ensure high load capacity – for use with a fully loaded vehicle. Additional features include
deformation-stable 3D GripKontrol sipes – Hankook claims nine percent shorter braking distances for the Vantra Transit, as well as a 13 percent increase in driving stability on wet surfaces.

The new tire is now available in 32 dimensions from 13 to 17 inches. In addition to the Vantra Transit, Hankook offers further tire solutions for transporters and delivery vans.
The Vantra LT is intended to deliver reliable performance in summer conditions, while the Winter i*cept LV aims to excel with very good traction and braking performance, ensuring a high level of safety even in the cold season.
