Krone Trailer and the Winkler Group have agreed on a strategic cooperation in the sales of original spare parts. As Krone explains in a statement, the partnership aims to further improve access to original parts— including safety-critical components such as underrun protection systems— for customers in road freight transport. The expansion of availability will be carried out gradually through the Winkler distribution network.
Access through European-wide Winkler network
According to company information, the Winkler network currently comprises over 40 locations in Europe.
Around 1,700 employees ensure the processing of spare parts supply. Additionally, the company operates three central warehouses for commercial vehicle parts, which are among the largest of their kind in Europe. This enables Winkler to supply both workshops and fleet operators at short notice.
Expected benefits for fleets and workshops
Through the cooperation with Winkler, Krone expects a higher market availability of its own original parts. The Krone Managing Director of Service,
Ralf Faust, described the collaboration as a consistent step "to
strategically expand our spare parts distribution and significantly increase the availability of our original parts in the market."
According to company information, customers are expected to benefit from shorter delivery times, efficient logistics, and technical advice from the Winkler team in the future.

Winkler also views the cooperation positively. According to the announcement, the company is expanding its range with Krone original parts to include products from one of Europe's leading trailer manufacturers.
