To ensure a clear structure, ergonomic working conditions, and reliable technical infrastructure—even under very demanding conditions—80 mobile workshop trailers are intended for the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). They were equipped by Sortimo with a needs-based vehicle outfitting to optimally support the helpers in deployment, according to the information.
The THW
is deployed, for example, after storms, during rescue operations, or for technical assistance. Time pressure is often present, and one is frequently in difficult terrain. Specifically for this, Sortimo has now developed a mobility solution.
Equipment Features
The compact trailer is designed to offer a full working environment with clear workflows and
ergonomic standing height, despite its small footprint. It is said that a tool will be placed in the hands of the responders that saves them valuable time.
The interior structure, comprising vehicle outfitting, special boxes and WorkMo elements, ensures that every tool has a fixed place and is ready for immediate use.
In addition, the mobile workspace is complemented by a power supply, additional work surfaces and an integrated option for hand hygiene.
