MAN Truck & Bus is presenting itself at this year's ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix at the Nürburgring from July 11 to 13 with an extensive appearance. The occasion is the 20th anniversary of the driver club "Trucker’s World by MAN," which traditionally brings together many members for the season highlight of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. Under the motto "Pure Emotion," visitors can expect a diverse program at the over 1,750 square meter MAN stand in the Müllenbach loop.
Anniversary Truck for Kautetzky Transport
The centerpiece of the exhibition is the
anniversary truck, which will be used by Kautetzky Transport in the future. In addition, MAN is presenting numerous other vehicles:
- the new MAN eTGX for long-distance travel,
- the restored MAN F8 from the cult series "Auf Achse,"
- the MAN TGX Powerlion Edition with the new D30 engine,
- customer vehicles from Vögel Transporte and Agrosprinter, as well as
- two show trucks by MAN employee Franz Zerle.
The event truck TGS 33.540 and the Herbie-TGE, designed in the style of the famous film beetle, complete the exhibition program.
Activities for Visitors

- addition to the vehicles, MAN offers numerous activities for visitors:
- autograph sessions with racing driver Sascha Lenz,
- sweepstakes such as test drives with the MAN eTGX or a
- taxi ride with the racing truck,
- flash mob dance performances,
- cap distributions,
- children's scavenger hunts, and
- health checks.
A platform ride with a panoramic view of the event grounds is possible for donations to benefit the Trucker’s World relief fund. Additionally, other companies are also getting involved, for example, through the sale of merchandise items in favor of the fund.
The event
is aimed at everyone who is enthusiastic about commercial vehicles, driver communities, and motorsports. The MAN stand is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
70 Years MAN in Munich
At the same time, MAN Truck & Bus is celebrating another significant anniversary this year: The Munich location has existed for 70 years. On the occasion of the main plant's anniversary, a ceremony with a Bavarian supporting program took place on June 30. The new MAN eTGX, whose series production will soon take place in Munich, was also showcased.
